Violent Natural Disasters

We know that the land masses have moved all over the globe, together and apart.  I imagine this kind of event could be massive.  We assume that nuclear plants are safe, until a natural event that we've never experienced happens.  If the land decides to move, and to do so quickly, it will be violent for those of us on the surface.  In this kind of natural disaster, we don't need the tragedy of radiation poisoning because the  experts didn't foresee or expect the changes of the earth.  We must have a cleaner way!
