Seriously....

Seriously, I'd like to know.  I have to believe that the oil in the earth serves an unknown important purpose, and removing it could be very dangerous.  If we remove all the heavy oil, turning it into a weightless gas in the atmosphere, could the planet be lighter in weight and move closer to Mars or the sun?  Sorry for the repeat question, but I'm in hopes of hearing some thoughts.
